My second batch of Macaroons is a success, after the first one being a major flop. Lesson learnt: Never, and I really mean NEVER follow the recipes found on the Internet step-by-step. My mother wanted me to bake those Macaroons like how I baked them last year cos’ it was a hit, and well loved by all. Silly me lost the recipe given by Syafiqah and therefore had to resort to the (ugly) Internet. Just for your information, Syafiqah lost the recipe too. Hahaha. :P And so, the internet taught me how to bake those Macaroons, only theirs had coconut inside. Now tell me, who loves coconut? Okay, not many. Haha. Smart me, decided to remove them from the ingredients list. And guess what, baking time is 3 HOURS! Who in this world would take those “chefs” word for word, and bake those Macaroons for 3 hours? ME. All effort and ingredients went down into Mr. Tong Sam Pah whose English name is Mr. Rubbish Bin. So long, and goodbye!
Now now, since the second one’s a success, I’ve already eaten 4 (or was it 5? I think more than that. Haha.) out of 152. Yumyum. (: By the looks of it, not many will be saved for Hari Raya. Hehehehe.
