HEY HEY YOU YOU!

One day, at BBQ Chicken @ Downtown East …

Miss ___ : Hi, is it okay if we do an interview with the both of you?
Ree : Erm, yeah, I’m okay with it. You okay? (Looks at me)
Me : Hmm, yeah… (reluctant, but super excited and nervous)
Miss ___ : So basically we’ll ask you how do you like the food, how many times have you been here, and what brings you back. That’s it, very short questions and it will be aired on Arirang TV on the 29th.

GAHHHHHHH SO EXCITING!! HAHAHA MY VERY FIRST TIME BEING ON TV!! WAHHHH!!! WHAT MORE IT’S KOREAN TELEVISION!!!!!!! (Jakun eh? Hahahha) God, I swear both our vocabulary just went *poooof*.

Miss ___ : (Asking Ree) So what did you have just now?
Ree : Erm…. (for quite some time before I cut in)
Me : Jerk BBQ.
Miss ___ : Hahahaha. How was it?
Ree : I think it’s delicious!
Miss ___ : (Talking to me) I see that you had Korean Charboiled, how do you find it?
Me : I think it has a unique taste and definitely tasty!

Then we thought the interview was over, but no! They wanted more of us, or rather more FROM us. Hahaha. So…

Miss ___ : Can you sum up the three points 1) the unique Halal taste, 2&3) (I seriously can’t remember right now!) in a sentence?
Ree : I think the food here is delicious and tantalizing …blablabla…

When Ree said BBQ Chicken is one of the few Halal Korean restaurants in Singapore, (and I doubt she knows what’s ‘Halal’) she thought it’s an adjective describing the taste of the Korean dish! Hahaha. After the whole interview was done, I had a great laugh with Ree on what are the other things that we could have said during the interview. Like, one of the pictures hung on the walls, it said “It’s not Barbeque, it’s BBQ.” and more LAH. That, of course will never escape from our spoken language. It’s like part of us already. Hahahaha. I bet those Koreans who watch that channel would have recognised us as Singaporeans for the number of Lah’s we used. Anyway, I think the hostess is gorgeous, with an awesomely flattering figure but she’s not really photogenic. (I’m not any better) WASTED! Below’s a picture of me with the interviewer. (:

She reminds me of my silly crushes on Yun Ji Hoo. Ahhhhh~ I hope I’ll still be famous once I’ve saved up enough cash to go to Korea on a holiday. Pray for me okay. Gamsa Hamnida! (Thank you in Korean) Oh and I’m so excited to catch Zoom Korea on Suria. Confirm bestttt! :D :D :D Kimchiiiiiii!
