These are the products that ladies go ga-ga about - M.A.C. With the different eye-catching colours, very few escape the store empty-handed. More often than not, M.A.C comes up with the different colour pallettes for different seasons, different occasions, different age groups. Definitely, you can find something there for yourself! (:
However, the cost of each product is a little too pricey for those who can’t afford. Like me, purchasing M.A.C cosmetics is no easy decision-making task. I had to go through rounds and rounds of thorough thinking, analysing my finances, making sure that I have sufficient to last me for awhile. As usual, the many times I show interest on M.A.C products, I walked away the same number of times.
Now here’s the problem: fake M.A.C cosmetic products. I’ve come across many of them especially in Malaysia. They set up tables in bazaars, markets, mini-stalls selling all kinds of cosmetics ranging from pressed powders, to lip glosses, to mascaras, to eyeshadows etc. You name it, they have it. Since it’s F.A.K.E, the price too isn’t so high. (Did someone say it’s cheap?)
Yeah, it’s attractive like that. Have you ever wondered what is the difference between the original and those faux ones? The sales department are well-equipped with the responses cos’ for sure most customers will pop that question. So they say that all the products they sell are original, just that they’re defected items, meaning either the company misprint the logo, or fit the contents in the wrong container etc. Oh wow, ain’t that inviting you to try it? Never thought of how it may be a defected item in terms of its content? Hmmm..
When the amount of chemicals are not in the right proportions, it may cause harm to your skin, you know that? Just now, Malaysia’s RTM1 did a (secret) interview with some salesgirls with a hidden camera, some daringly claimed that these are original products bought from wholesalers, thus the low prices. Tsk tsk, if you buy their sweet enticing words, you’re so naive.
Unknowing to the users, they have just entered the world of doom where skin problems await them. Please ladies, ensure that the cosmetics you buy from today onwards are original from authorised resellers cos’ our facial beauty is our pride. And if you do own any ‘defected’ products, remove them from the shelves okay? (:
